Harry Chaskin is a writer, director, and animator.
He strives to tell character driven stories using classic handmade techniques like stop-motion animation, matte paintings and miniatures.
Harry recently directed Santa Inc for HBO Max, created Tree Secrets for FXX’s comedy anthology show CAKE, and released his first graphic novel The Happiest Place about the seedy underbelly of theme parks.
Harry has helmed projects for Netflix, Adult Swim, Warner Bros, DC Comics, Disney, and many others. His short film Bygone Behemoth premiered at SXSW and went on to screen at dozens of festivals internationally, picking up several awards along the way. He created the Annie-nominated web series Friendship All-Stars, directed Netflix's first stop-motion series Buddy Thunderstruck, and served as animation director on the Emmy Award winning Robot Chicken. He is also executive producer of the animated series Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese.
